I don't think it was just CNN, I saw reports of a similar nature in Melbourne and just chose not to read them.
I'll check it out but London to a brick they're about the same game and the world just decided to sensationalise it on the same day.
Yep, I've checked, the 31st of March was D-Day for the news release here, though it may well have been inspired by CNN if their report pre-dated it.
The newspaper reports here were followed up by extensive TV news reporting, no doubt ensuring a great deal more interest from within Australia than ever before - and the cynic in me imagines this pattern has been repeated world wide.
